Illustration & Visual Narrative || Project 1 Vormator Challenge

Instructions

In week 2, we got a brief on our first project which is a formator challenge. We need to make something like this

Submission

Firstly we need to trace these basic shapes in illustrator where later on we need to combine it and make a character of our own.

I really like the first one because it has a character in it, it looks cute and at the same time looks fierce. And when I show it to the teacher, he also like the first one.

Reflections

I am quite satisfied with my outcome here. And also I learn a lot from this project. It is quite hard and also fun at the same time because we only can use the shapes that have already been provided and also we cannot use so many colors, we need to make it like a silhouette. Through this project, I learn how to make a good character because every character has a basic shape that determines the character's personality. And by looking at my character, is a reverse triangle that makes my character looks stronger.
