Instructions

An infographic poster for ONE recipe selected from Pasta Grannies @ https://www.youtube.com/user/pastagrannies/videos

Study one video, break down, and chunk the preparation and cooking process into an instructable poster. Try to capture each Grandma’s personality and unique dish identity in your poster as part of the narrative structure.

Poster size: 1240 × 1750 pixels or 2048 × 2048 pixels

Progress

So for starters, we need to find the video of the cooking tutorial that we want to reference from the Pasta Grannies youtube channel, and this is the video that I picked.

From this video, I do chunking to grouping the step by step into two big chunks/steps, and from there I try to sketch for my infographic poster. And here is the sketch.

From here, I need to do the vector in adobe illustrator. Here is my first draft for the vector.

Then I gave this to Mr. Hafiz for feedback. And the comment that I got is that

"icons or images for ingredients could help a lot"

"Please remember text hierarchy and a system for the fonts. Small, medium, large, Bold for emphasis, etc"

From that comments, I do some adjustments,s and here is my final result.

Final Poster

After we have done with our poster, we need to make an animatic poster from it. I still use the dimension of the poster for the animatic poster. And here is the final result of my animatic infographic poster.
