Instructions

This is group work. Research and condense the given script and develop a suitable visual narrative to deliver an awareness motion graphic video about BURNOUT that is experienced by university students.​

Expected outcomes:​

-An animated infographic informing the audience about a given topic (min 1.5 - max 3 min video)​

-Must include some form of data/statistics. ​

-Must use the questioning technique and provide answers.​

Progress

We already got the script for our BurnOut animatic video. Now, all we need to do is draw the sketch draft first and need to show it to the lecturer. This sketch will help us to do the timing for the animation later on.

Animatic draft

After we have done with our animatic, we got comments on some of the scenes where it does not really have many animations will go on, so we need to improvise it, so as not to feel very empty. After that, we did some changes later on in the vector graphic.

When we want to proceed to do it in AI and AE, we decided to divide the workload into two parts, making a vector and animating the vector. I choose to animate the vector.

And for my part, I need to animate Qiao Yin parts. Here are two videos of my parts.

And I got feedback that the bear can wiggle only after the bear got burned out not before. Later on for the final combined video, I change it.
