Motion Graphic & Compositing - Final Project

Brief

So the brief that we got is that we can make anything that we want with the duration of 30-45 seconds. We can do crazy for this last project.

Progress

So what I wanna do is to make a motion graphic talking about myself. Because this also a question that sometime I question myself like "Who am I?". So at first, I go to Pinterest and look for a reference that I want to use as my guideline. So here it is my moodboard.

From that moodboard, I will make the storyline, and it will be a straightforward story where I question myself and than show what I love and at the end I define myself. Simple and quick. And here is the storyboard.

After that I jump into AI first to make the graphic where later on I can animate it in AE. I use this method because some of the scene, the shape I can't make it in AE. Like the heart shape and also the first scene of my character.

Then after that, I jump into AE. The funny and weird thing happen, where my heart shape outline cannot be change it keep giving the question mark icon, and when I look into the internet it say that happen because I select two thing, but in here I just select one. But then I just move on with it, and at the end I just draw it with pen tool. I think that is the only trouble that I face.

So here is the final outcome of my motion graphic final project I called it "EXPLORE"
